With vision and AI guided robotics, SortiPack® reduces labor cost and dependency and increases yields and reduces waste whilst data is used as a source for further optimization.

Kind Technologies expands its group with the acquisition of KOAT to accelerate its growth strategy and to secure complementary IP for it newly developed SortiPack® Robotics portfolio for the fresh produce and horticulture markets. KOAT B.V. is an international machine- and system supplier of internal transport and material handling systems in the greenhouse horticulture with more than 30 years of experience.

Kind Technologies strengthens its position in the horticulture greenhouse market by acquiring Martin Stolze B.V., an international specialist in the automation of internal transport. With a strong track record and sales, engineering and production facility within the Dutch greenport region (the epic center of horticulture technology), this complements the overall product portfolio and global sales and service presence.

Kind Technologies sells its pharmaceutical business in line with its strategy to become a leading Dutch AgTech group.
With this transaction, Kind Technologies focusses 100% on the horticulture greenhouse market.

After the successful sales of its pharmaceutical business Kind Technologies continues with its strategy of focus. It will integrate the competencies and IP from Beltech and KOAT intro Crux Agribotics focusing 100% on complete end-to-end automated sorting and packing lines . In its R&D roadmap resources will be allocated to the development of harvesting and sorting and packing robotics. The company will stop with the former business of Beltech and KOAT including single projects in internal logistics. With this strategic alignment the company is able to differentiate and to add real value for its customers with its leading edge Robotics, Computer Vision, Data & AI technology. It will focus on the organic growth of Martin Stolze Group and Crux Agribotics potentially accelerated with specific add-on acquisitions in the future.

To facilitate this new strategy and focus, both companies will move to a new office in Eindhoven. The new modern building is a representative and inspiring workspace. Also it is fully sustainable in line with Kind Technologies’ purpose, ‘Be Kind to the World’. It offers colleagues and visitors a pleasant work environment with extra facilities such as a restaurant, gym and different areas to collaborate, meet and relax. The new office enables the group to further grow its operations and to scale in line with its ambitious growth plan. Besides the office in Eindhoven, it has  a large facility in De Lier, Westland where Martin Stolze Group resides. Kind Technologies literally brings together the Brainport and Greenport regions of The Netherlands.

AgTech Group Kind Technologies attracts growth capital from Avedon Capital Partners. The parties will invest in the future growth of the company and its international expansion within the horticulture greenhouse market.
